Our story.
My name is André Martins, I'm 26, and I'm a dreamer.
For as long as I can remember, nature and adventure called to me, and I was a scout for years. Then life took its course, and like it happens to so many people, I drifted away from the passions I used to have. I jumped between jobs, projects and hobbies (I even learned to play the trumpet, forgot all of it) chasing something I couldn't quite name.
Through all of it, I realised something: the experiences that stuck with me the most were the ones that mixed nature with physical effort. They made me feel more complete, more present, happier. Surfing taught me to never give up. Climbing taught me to face my fears. Hiking taught me patience and gratitude.
One day, after an entrepreneurship class, I went to watch the sunset at the beach. And it clicked: "I earned this sunset!" If I live every one of my days like this, if I earn the end of each day, I won't just be successful, I'll be much happier.
That's how Earn the Sunset Adventure Co. was born, a collective of people who want to chase their dreams and, at the end of the day, earn their sunset.
Today we take you to live it firsthand. We guide you on a hike through the magical forest, or along the cinematic coast of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, ending with the sunset over the Atlantic. It's not just a hike, it's an evening you earn with your own two feet. And when the sun touches the sea, you'll realise you earned it.
